Woven Blanket
Well, it's been a while since my last post. Busy summer.
I started and finished a wonderful blanket on my Dorothy. I used 8/4 cotton in a dark brown and 2 different pinks. Because the width on the loom is so narrow, I made 4 strips (only 2 are shown) with 2 different patterns. 2 strips with the dark pink on the outside, and the center is made from 2 light pink strips together. I found some cute polka dot ribbon that I used along the seams and the border. My granddaughter's room and furnishings have a pink and brown scheme.
The blanket will fit a twin sized bed. I'm proud of my little 4 shaft Dorothy!
